PREPARE FOR THE FAIR CHECKLIST FOR STUDENTS

• Update Your Resume - our walk-in hours are M-F, 10am-3pm, C310 Pomerantz Center (when classes are in session)

  View event details and submit your resume to employers attending the fair through the "Events" tab. Click on the fair you are interested in and then RSVP - you can RSVP to the fair in general and/or express interest in a specific employer. Go to "Current Postings", "Search & Apply" to request interviews from employers who are staying to interview the day after the fair. Be sure to make the request weeks in advance of the interview date! Many employers will also schedule interviews when they meet with you at the fair.

• PARKING & Directions
  As part of your fair registration fee, parking is provided for in the Iowa Memorial Union (IMU) or North Ramps (see linked map at bottom of email. If the Iowa Memorial Union and North Ramps are full, you can park in the Old Capitol Mall Ramp. When you arrive at the IMU, please make your way to the second floor and check-in at the Lobby outside the Second Floor Ballroom.
  CONSTRUCTION on North Dubuque Street will affect traffic from I-80 into downtown Iowa City until 2018. Expect 15-30 minute delays during peak hours, as well as occasional closures. Please plan on adding extra time to your schedule due to construction delays.

  From Interstate 80 - to park in the Iowa Memorial Union or North Ramp :
  -Visitors approaching Iowa City on Interstate 80 can take either the Dubuque Street (244) – see travel note above, Dodge Street (Exit 246) or 1st Avenue (Exit 242) exits, or the Melrose Avenue exit (Exit 93) if approaching on Interstate 380/US218.
  -Take Exit 246 for Dodge Street and Continue on Dodge Street, until you reach Market Street.
  -Turn right onto Market Street and watch for the sign on your left indicating whether or not there is parking available in the Iowa Memorial Union (IMU) Ramp or the North Campus Ramp (North Campus Ramp is recommended).
  -If parking is available in the IMU Ramp, turn left at the T-intersection at the bottom of the hill onto Madison Street. Take an immediate left into the IMU ramp.
  If the IMU Ramp is full, turn right at the T-intersection at the bottom of the hill onto Madison Street. The North Campus Ramp will be one block north, on your right.
