How did you hear about the internship?

I learned about Allianz Life through their recruiting at Iowa and through connections with other students that worked there. My mentor in the actuarial science club interned at Allianz, so I got to hear firsthand about how much she enjoyed working there. I also heard great things from other peers who had done internships with Allianz and loved it!

Why did you choose this particular internship?

I chose Allianz because of its strong employee reputation, competitive benefits, and fun workplace atmosphere. I was never a summer intern at Allianz, but I still felt super welcomed and ready to dive into work when I started full-time.

Why should Iowa students consider participating in this internship?

Allianz is a great choice for students that want to learn a lot and grow in their actuarial skillset. Even in the short time I've been here, I've been challenged to think through concepts I've learned about in exams and apply them to real world contexts in ways that are new and exciting to me. There is also a lot of exam support and guidance as you're starting out in your career. Plus, working at Allianz is a great opportunity to explore and experience all the Twin Cities have to offer!
