How did you hear about the internship? 

I heard of Transamerica through Handshake and loved that their campus was in Cedar Rapids so I could stay in Iowa City for the summer while accomplishing an internship. A few of my classmates had completed an internship at Transamerica the summer prior, and they all seemed to like the structure which was encouraging to hear! 

Why did you choose this particular internship? 

I chose Transamerica because I felt the most comfortable in their interview process. Everyone interviewing me was honest, providing valuable insights with the experiences they had had with the company. Their program also seemed to be structured in a very beneficial way with a lot of networking opportunities and the proximity to Iowa City was an added bonus for me

Why should Iowa students consider participating in this internship?

I truly cannot speak highly enough about the Transamerica internship program. Even as an intern I felt seen, valued, and heard. The network I gained from talking to professionals in the company was terrific and they made sure to make the summer fun with intern outings which was great to get to know my fellow interns!
