Professor Dale Zimmerman has received a UI OpenHawks award to fund his "Mathematical Basics for Mathematical Statistics" project! Professor Zimmerman taught a supplementary seminar with the same title in Fall 2024 for students taking the STAT:3100-3101 Introduction to Mathematical Statistics sequence. The seminar was extremely beneficial to our students, and we are confident his OpenHawks project will be, too! 

OpenHawks is a campus wide grant program that funds instructor efforts to replace their current textbooks with Open Educational Resources (OER) for enhanced student success.
